Cloud-managed architecture and application lifecycle
Avigilon Alta installations should be evaluated by exact camera or service and the functions supplied under the selected management and licensing arrangement. Distinguish live viewing, historical recording, detection alerts and video searching; these need not share an identical outage dependency. For a campus, map who may view common areas and who controls tenant administration.
Demonstration and handover questions
Test credential and administrative handover where video interfaces with other security systems, and demonstrate incident search and export. Verify bandwidth, recording location, retention, supported camera models, account transfer and documented service changes.

For this specific platform, keep the supported model and software versions, a written use case, sample results from the owner’s environment, data-flow diagram, retention policy, costs, maintenance owner and any unresolved limitations.
