Hanwha Vision

AI cameras, AI Packs and cloud services

Camera-side analytics can be extended through product-specific applications; AI Packs and cloud services use different licensing paths.

Buyer check: Hanwha documents perpetual AI Pack licenses as camera-bound and non-transferable. Confirm supported camera and application versions; do not assume every WiseAI feature or proof of concept is included.

Official product or support documentation

Test this platform in your environment

Ask for the selected camera and AI Pack’s feature list, then demonstrate each requested task on that exact combination.

Architecture: Camera / service-dependent. Confirm processing location, outage behavior, supported cameras and the licenses included in the proposal. Video-stream compatibility alone does not establish metadata or event compatibility.

Before selecting a configuration

Record missed events, nuisance alerts and operator review time during the pilot. Get written confirmation of account ownership, renewal costs, export options, replacement parts and alternative service providers. Use the purchasing workbook for the full acceptance checklist.

Compare documented feature coverage or explore industry applications.

Source-based reference; independent testing and universal availability are not claimed. Suggest a correction with current manufacturer documentation.

Wisenet device families and analytic events

Evaluate the particular Hanwha Vision Wisenet camera rather than treating all cameras as having identical AI capabilities. Analytics depend on model-specific processors, firmware and VMS integrations. For an industrial perimeter, test person/vehicle classification near fencing, headlights and vegetation, then verify what the recorder actually receives. Separate edge-generated events from post-recording smart search.

Demonstration and handover questions

Require a model-and-firmware compatibility list, an event-naming demonstration and a sample export into the chosen recording platform. Check network and recorder outages against the agreed recording mode. Establish firmware ownership, supported feature entitlements and lifecycle dates.

Record these decisions

Retain supported models and software versions, a written use case, measured pilot results, a data-flow diagram, retention policy, operating costs, maintenance owner and unresolved limitations. Product compatibility and feature availability should be checked against current manufacturer documentation; this reference is not a certification or endorsement.
