Network Optix is often considered for flexible VMS architecture and integrations. Distinguish native management, connected analytics and third-party applications: an available plugin framework does not mean a particular analytic is included. When reusing existing cameras, verify event and metadata compatibility separately from streaming or recording compatibility.
Demonstration and handover questions
Test a representative camera, integration event, stored search and exported clip with the exact server version. Plan resource sizing, resilience, account ownership, API security and what happens if an analytics service fails while the VMS keeps recording.
